An inquest has been opened into the death of a Chorlton father-to-be who died after police were called to a ‘disturbance’ in Oldham.
Charlie Elms, 25, died on Fifth Avenue, Oldham, last month.
Police coroner officer Kathy Dixon said in a short hearing today at Rochdale Coroner’s Court that Mr Elms had died from a fatal stab wound to the back of his chest.
