A Florida police officer took off on a foot race Sunday against a brother-sister duo.  It was a rematch five years in the making, according to the Tampa Police Department.  In a Facebook post, K9 Master Patrol Officer T. Bergman said he had lost a foot race five years ago against a local youth named Nas, who grasped the win "by a step."  On Sunday, Bergman called for a rematch.The video has already garnered thousands of views.

A Florida woman was arrested for allegedly setting up a dating profile advertising “free meth tonight” that sent suitors to her romantic rival’s home looking for sex, police said. Vanessa Marie Huckaba, 29, created the “Islandbabe1234” profile on the website Seeking Arrangement and included the name, photo, cellphone number and address of a woman who was dating her ex-boyfriend, according to an arrest report obtained by The Miami Herald.

Florida police say they came upon a horrific scene when they went to check on the welfare of a former local elected official and her husband. Edith and David Henderson were found stabbed to death in their home, which had been ransacked, Lakeland police said.They were killed Tuesday morning.
