With the end nearing for some of Broadway’s limited engagements and the annual post-Tony Awards ax-fallings, the roster of summertime departures is heating up along with the temperatures. From the planned end-dates of American Buffalo and Plaza Suite to unexpected closing announcements for Company and Dear Evan Hansen, options for Broadway ticketbuyers will thin out before the fall brings its new bounty.
Deadline has compiled this list of Broadway productions that will be exiting their theaters this summer and early fall. The first batch arrives July 10, with the end of limited engagements for American Buffalo, Macbeth and Plaza Suite. Later in the month comes the final curtain for The Minutes and Company, with POTUS and Tina leaving in August. September will see the departures of two long-running musicals, Dear Evan Hansen and Come From Away.

He continues to be repped by Mosaic and Hansen Jacobson in the US, as well as B-Side Management and LARK in the UK.Goldstein is best known to American audiences for his breakout role as veteran footballer turned coach Roy Kent in the Apple sports comedy series “Ted Lasso.” He won the Emmy Award for best supporting actor in a comedy for his work on the show’s first season, with Season 2 also expected to pick up nominations when they are announced next week.Goldstein is also a writer on the show and won two WGA Awards along with the rest of the writing team on the series.
Poison were forced to cancel their performance in Nashville on Thursday night (June 30), after frontman Bret Michaels was hospitalised due to “an unforeseen medical complication”. The glam-metal outfit is currently on ‘The Stadium Tour’ with Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe, all of whom are co-headlining the North American run with Joan Jett & The Blackhearts as their support act. Initially slated to go down in 2020 (before being pushed back due to the ongoing pandemic), the tour kicked off in Atlanta on June 16. Thursday’s show in Nashville – which took place at the 69,000-capacity Nissan Stadium – was the eighth show on the itinerary.
