Fashion and beauty icon Trinny Woodall tried out the bagpipes during a visit to Scotland.
The stylist, who has her own brand of cosmetics Trinny London, was in Edinburgh to showcase her latest products at Harvey Nichols during a whirlwind tour.
Trinny, who has been Stateside to talk to people about her products and demonstrate them, was staying in the Scottish capital for a flying visit and was welcomed by bagpipes at the hotel.
She met a female piper at the entrance of the legendary Balmoral hotel and was impressed by her bagpiping.
The piper challenged her to have a go herself and Trinny replied: "Bagpipe lesson? Let's go inside and give it a go."
Once inside, Trinny donned some tartan and tried to blow into the practice cantor.
After ten minutes it appeared that she had learned quickly as she rocked out some traditional tunes on the pipes.
She was however discovered to be cheating - miming as the female piper hit the notes beside her.
Trinny later returned to the hotel following her appearance at Harvey Nichols and decided to get in some steps to keep fit at the hotel.
She was seen wandering the long corridors in the wee small hours as she tried to notch up some kilometres.
And she continued her fitness routine at the airport telling fans she was determined to get in more exercise before she got on her flight.
