Fans of BBC news presenter Jon Kay were in hysterics after being 'spotted' as the King gave a speech in France. A video of King Charles addressing guests during a State Banquet at the Palace of Versailles was shared on social media after one user thought a member of the waiting staff bore a strong resemblance to the Breakfast show host.
The amused newsreader then shared the video and post, originally posted by '@agjbirks' on social media platform, alongside the caption "People sometimes ask me what I do on the days when I’m not presenting #BBCBreakfast" and followed by a winking emoji.
The video shows the King speaking in French to his guests, before it pans over to a side view of the member of the waiting staff, who is said to look like Jon. The BBC star's followers were quick to comment, agreeing that there was an 'uncanny' resemblance and posting lots of laughing emojis.

King Charles and Queen Camilla are currently on a three-day state visit to France. They arrived on Wednesday (September 20), touching down at Orly airport, near Paris.
