My Mum, Your Dad continued on Tuesday night and there was a shock elimination twist as two parents sadly had to wave goodbye to the West Sussex country house and their chance at finding love.
ITV fans have been left feeling "gutted" as favourites mum Caroline from Lanarkshire and high-energy dad Clayton were sadly chosen as they hadn't been able to find a connection during their time there.
Scottish mum Caroline originally had a spark with widowed Roger who lost his wife last year to cancer, although he admitted his head was "turned" when blonde mum Janey entered and the 51-year-old became friend-zoned.
Davina McCall delivered the sad news, she said: "Our relationship experts have chosen two people who they believe have got all they can out of the experience and will take what they've learned into the outside world."
She then revealed who was being sent home, and as the others started to cry, asked what experiences they have been able to take from the show.
"I've just learned to open up," Caroline said. "Not coming away from the retreat feeling that it's not ok. It's definitely given me more confidence. I have met six men in here who are absolute gentlemen."
As the parents continue to share their love for the pair, Roger reflected on the loss of his pal. "Clayton was my go to, I am really going to miss him. But I know I am going to see him again," he said.
"It's been great," Clayton smiled. "I feel ready for the world and a whole new me, I'm going to go out there now and you know, embrace life."
Fans soon took to Twitter following the news, as one said: "Caroline and Clayton deserved better! #MyMumYourDad," and another added: "Sad to see Caroline go. She didn't get a chance. #MyMumYourDad"
