Sleep experts have revealed seven anti-aging sleep hacks that will help prevent premature wrinkling on their face.
Over half of Brits have been warned they are at risk of premature wrinkles because of their sleep position. The sleep experts at Winstons Beds have revealed seven anti-ageing sleep hacks to prevent facial lines and wrinkles.
Falling asleep in certain positions, including on the stomach and sides, can cause premature wrinkles.
Over 60 per cent of adults admit to sleeping on their side, which can lead to permanent fine lines and signs of ageing. Wrinkles can develop when the face is pressed against pillows or sheets for long periods, causing the skin to fold and crease.
These fine lines and wrinkles can contribute to overall facial ageing, especially around the nasolabial folds, eyes, and lips.
Rebecca Swain, sleep expert from Winstons Beds said: "Unfortunately, those who struggle with a pillow face after a heavy night's sleep are prone to wrinkles.
"When the skin rubs across pillows or sheets at night, it can cause premature wrinkles and lines to develop especially around our eyes and mouth. Although they are an inevitable and natural part of ageing, there are ways to prevent them from developing before they become permanent.
"Luckily simple nighttime changes can prevent premature ageing, including sleeping on your back instead of your stomach or side."
Read on below to find out how you can prevent developing wrinkles throughout the night as you sleep.

It is the worst position to sleep in as the whole face is exposed and can lead to chronic changes to the skin, which contributes to excessive wrinkles.
