They have recorded wins against Longridge Town, Chorley and Watford, as a well as a draw versus Stockport County and a slim loss to Wigan Athletic. Last Saturday, Wanderers suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Carlisle United.
This Saturday's game against the Terriers is the Whites' final game for the first team in pre-season. It is also the only friendly match being played at the University of Bolton Stadium before the campaign gets under way.
It will be a special game for Kachunga. The 30-year-old spent four seasons with ther Terriers, scoring four goals in 81 games and helping the club win promotion to the Premier League.
And Kachunga is looking forward to this weekend's encounter for both personal and professional reasons. Not only his accomplishments at Huddersfield make it a good game, but taking on last season's Championship play-off final runners-up will offer Wanderers a big test ahead of the League One curtain raiser at the end of the month.
