'Evil Dead Rise' Director Lee Cronin Reveals Four Possible Sequels

Rita Lee, the Brazilian singer who started her career as a founding member of the long-running, highly original rock band Os Mutantes, has passed away. The news was shared on Lee’s official Instagram page Monday morning (May 9) and first reported in English by ABC News shortly thereafter.

This week sees the release of “Evil Dead Rises,” the latest resurrection of the “Evil Dead” franchise, which began life in the early 1980’s with a micro-budget feature from an unknown director named Sam Rami and has blossomed to includes sequels, remakes and television spinoffs (not to mention several popular videogame adaptations) – all with even more carnage than what came before it.

He added that that the international content was working in their original languages in the metropolises and can be customized into local languages for release in tier 2 and 3 centers.
