Everything Donald Glover Has Done Since the Last Childish Gambino Album

UPDATE: Donald Glover released the album, titled 3.15.20, on all digital streaming platforms on Sunday, March 22, a week after its release on DonaldGloverPresents.com.

Last week, Donald Glover provided fans with a distraction from coronavirus quarantine by surprise-dropping a 12-song new album in the wee hours of the morning, which was available to stream on a dedicated website before being removed approximately 12 hours later. At 3 a.m. ET Sunday, he officially released the album onto streaming services, with a title of last Sunday’s date, “3.15.20.”

A mysterious countdown clock has appeared on his website

Last week, Donald Glover released a new album featuring 21 Savage, Ariana Grande, and more on the website DonaldGloverPresents.com. Fans speculated the project was the long-promised final Childish Gambino album, but the music was unavailable to listen to outside of the website, and was soon taken down entirely.

Donald Glover has replaced his new music with a mysterious countdown clock on his official website.The rapper otherwise known as Childish Gambino had previously released an album of new music exclusively on the site on Sunday (March 14) before abruptly taking it down the same day.

Actor and rapper Donald Glover has given fans something to smile about during the coronavirus pandemic by dropping a surprise new album.

Donald Glover has been hard at work on some new music, and surprised fans on Sunday by releasing a trove of new material online… only to take it back hours later.

Childish Gambinoshocked his fans in the earliest hours of Sunday morning when he released a batch of new music in the middle of the night. Though it's currently absent from streaming services,Donald Glover Presentsis available atdonaldgloverpresents.com, which features little more than the music — with no identifying information for each track — and artwork for the release.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Donald Glover shared an untitled collection of music on the website DonaldGloverpresents.com that may very well be the fated final Childish Gambino album. Auto-streaming on a loop with no track listing provided, there seem to be 12 songs with some boasting features like SZA, Ariana Grande and 21 Savage and includes his 2018 track "Feels Like Summer."

It looks like Childish Gambino is back with a new album. A bunch of new songs are streaming on a website called DonaldGloverPresents.com, and the link to the site was retweeted by Glover’s manager Fam Rothstein. (The RT has since been removed.) The website is streaming Gambino’s 2018 track “Feels Like Summer,” as well as songs that appear to feature Ariana Grande and 21 Savage. (Fans also claim that SZA appears.) Pitchfork has reached out to Childish Gambino’s representatives.

In a late-night surprise, Childish Gambino shared a new website, donaldgloverpresents, featuring a live-stream of a new album. The project features 21 Savage, SZA, and Ariana Grande, and includes his 2018 single, “Feels Like Summer.”
