Late last year, it was announced that New York City’s CMJ Music Marathon would return for the first time in five years. The week-long multi-venue festival was initially launched in 1978, and ran through 2015. However following a change in ownership and a string of legal issues, the event’s future was uncertain. Now, the British platform Amazing Radio has announced the acquisition of the CMJ brand.

After years of silence, Fiona Apple emerged from the wilderness last month with news that she's finished her fifth album, Fetch the Bolt Cutters. She told The New Yorker that the LP's title was directly inspired by a line from British crime drama The Fall, when Gillian Anderson's lead detective calls for the said bolt cutters to unlock the door to a room where a young girl has been tortured. J Balvin is back with his latest album, Colores. As the title suggests, nine of the 10 songs are named after a Spanish word for a color.
