Erik ten Hag has slammed his Manchester United players for making an 'unacceptable' number of individual mistakes in their 4-0 defeat to Brentford on Saturday evening.
United tasted their second defeat of the new Premier League campaign with one of their worst ever showings in the modern era against one of the smaller sides in the top flight.
Ten Hag's side fell behind to a tame effort from Josh Dasilva within the first 10 minutes and then went on to concede another three times in the next 25 minutes after goals from Mathias Jensen, Ben Mee and Bryan Mbuemo.

It was a humiliating defeat for the new United manager, and after the match he was asked what exactly went wrong at the Gtech Community Stadium.
"We have to change, that is quite clear," he told beIN Sports after the humiliating defeat. "We have to start better, in both games, and we have to stick to the team, stick to the plan, and from the first start you have to be switched on. That is what we didn't do today.
"I think you start the game and then you make some individual mistakes, and you have got nothing you can do against that. One mistake, okay, that can happen, but not the second and the third mistake.
"It's not acceptable and it is something we have to work on. Players have to know that."
