Erik ten Hag has suggested he'll be able to bring a 'winning mentality' to Manchester United.
Ten Hag had long been a leading candidate to permanently succeed Ralf Rangnick at Old Trafford and he was officially announced as United's next manager on Thursday. Ten Hag joins United on a three-year contract with the option of an additional year.
The Dutchman will continue to manage Ajax until the end of the season. Ten Hag's side fell short in the Dutch Cup final against PSV last weekend, but they remain four points clear at the top of the Eredivisie with just five games left to play.

Ajax play NEC Nijmegen on Saturday but Ten Hag has been inundated with questions about United in the build-up. Speaking to a Dutch newspaper ahead of the weekend, the 52-year-old was asked about his imminent move to England.
Ten Hag answered questions on United and he reflected on his impact on Ajax during his time at the club.
"I think that with me in charge, I made Ajax play the Ajax way," Ten Hag told Trouw.
"With always the intention to play great and to play good. With adventure and beauty. There is a bigger winning mentality here now. If Ajax lacked a winning mentality before I arrived? I think so.
"The fact that PSV was so hungry to win the cup-final was logical, they didn't win a trophy for a long time. I worked at PSV and the cup-final didn't get any attention there for years. Now all of a sudden it's a big trophy, that's how they celebrated it too.
"I think that's the biggest compliment that we could have got. It shows that the trophies the last couple of years were mostly for Ajax."
