Manchester United are in the midst of a major rebuild in a bid to change their fortunes after years of mismanagement behind the scenes and disappointment on the pitch. The simple answer is that United lost two key coaches in Kieran McKenna and Michael Carrick when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer departed and only were able to appoint Chris Armas, but this has still caused some confusion.
