Emmerdale fans think they have figured out who Reuben's real dad is, after they believe a soap star has let a clue slip. Viewers think they have worked out the real identity of Chloe Harris' child and that it isn't Mackenzie Boyd. Chloe Harris (played by Jessie Elland) gave birth to baby Reuben this year, after having a fling with Mack (Lawrence Robb).
At first, it was a secret that he was the father, after Mack hid his affair with Chloe from his wife Charity Dingle. However, when Chloe gave birth to her son, Reuben, he faced serious health issues after being diagnosed with bacterial meningitis. Mack then realised he did care for his son, despite saying he didn't want anything to do with either of them.
This lead to Charity finding out the devastating truth and the breakdown of their marriage. However, fans think that Mack isn't the real father after all, as they believe that Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) could be Reuben's father following the pair's previous fling. The actor who plays Nate also recently opened up about his romance with Chloe. Nate has recently tied the knot with Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) in scenes that aired last week.
Speaking to press, Jurell shared: "I think obviously he’s had a fling with Chloe. That was just a sexual thing rather than any kind of romance or anything like that. "He met Naomi, which they got on but again, work commitments and just not being on the same page got in the way. "So I think he's finally got his match with Tracy and I feel like it's nice to see on screen as well." Fans took to Twitter to talk about their possible theory, as one said: "If the baby somehow ended up being Nate's, Reuben would go from being Moira's nephew to Cain's grandson #Emmerdale."
