Emmerdale star Amy Walsh confirms ITV soap return after 18-month break

Amy Walsh, known for her role as Tracy Metcalfe in Emmerdale, is set to make her return to the show as filming resumes. Previously, Amy took a break from the soap in January 2022 for her maternity leave, with Tracy leaving the village to pursue a new job opportunity, leaving Nate heartbroken.
While Amy briefly returned for the show's 50th anniversary in October of last year, she expressed that she wasn't ready for a permanent comeback at that time, as she had just welcomed her first child with Toby Alexander Smith. In exciting news for fans of the soap, Amy is now back on set, although she admitted finding the return challenging.
