Manori Ravindran Executive Editor of International Bleecker Street has acquired the North American rights to “Jules” from director Marc Turtletaub (“Puzzle”) and starring Ben Kingsley, Harriet Sansom Harris, Zoe Winters, Jade Quon and Jane Curtin. Written by Gavin Steckler (“Review”), “Jules” made its world premiere at this year’s Sonoma International Film Festival where it was the opening night film and won the Stolman Audience Award for Best Feature. Bleecker Street will release the film in theaters on August 11. “Jules” follows Milton (Kingsley) who lives a quiet life of routine in a small western Pennsylvania town, but finds his day upended when a UFO and its extra-terrestrial passenger crash land in his backyard. Before long, Milton develops a close relationship with the extra-terrestrial he calls “Jules.”

Carrie Ann Inaba has paid a heartbreaking tribute to Dancing with the Stars' co-star Len Goodman, following his death from bone cancer aged 78.  The talented dancer took to Instagram on Monday shortly after the news broke to share an emotional statement, accompanied by never-before-seen footage of the pair together - which can be seen in the video below.  She wrote: "A Dancer.

He only found fame in his 60s, taking part in a new Saturday night TV show for 2004, called Strictly Come Dancing. But as head judge on the hugely popular TV show, Len Goodman, who's sadly died from bone cancer in a Kent hospice aged 78, became known for his warm and quick-witted comments, as well as his score calling catchphrase, "Se-ven!" A regular and much-loved fixture on our TV screens for an incredible 14 series – alongside his fellow judges, Bruno Tonioli, Arlene Phillips and Craig Revel Horwood – the former professional dancer hung up his Strictly scoring paddles for the last time in 2016.

Len Goodman has died at the age of 78, just a few months after quitting Dancing With the Stars in America and heading back to the UK to be closer to his family.The late professional dancer became a household name in the UK when he joined the original line up of Strictly Come Dancing back in 2004 and became beloved for his kind and positive judging style on the show. He quit the show in 2016 to work full time on Dancing With the Stars, which he appeared on for 17 years before leaving the world of TV behind for good in November 2022.

Naman Ramachandran “Peaky Blinders” creator Steven Knight is developing a drama series based on the life of William Shakespeare, based on a concept by double BAFTA-winning “Happy Valley” star Sarah Lancashire. The series is being developed with Banijay U.K.’s Kudos and Lancashire’s production company, Via Pictures, which she formed with Peter Salmon. It will be written by Knight and will be produced out of his Digbeth Loc. Studios in Birmingham by Kudos, in association with Via. The drama will tell the complete story of the glove-maker’s son who became the greatest storyteller in history and how his genius survived and thrived in an age of turmoil and terror, danger and disease.
