Emmerdale fans think they have figured out an explosive character return for the ITV soap's 50th anniversary after it was claimed that Liv Flaherty is set to be "killed off". Over the weekend, it was reported that Isobel Steele has apparently quit the hit ITV soap after six years. According to reports, the actress, 21, is said to be wanting to focus on music and her character, Liv, is set to be "killed off" in dramatic scenes later this month.
A source told The Sun : "It’s been a big decision for Isobel but she’s ready to try new things. "She feels like she’s done all she can at Emmerdale and wants to focus on her music career and make a real go of it. Bosses have pulled out all the stops for the 50th anniversary month and Isobel’s exit will be no different.
"Viewers are going to be on the edge of their seats as it all plays out and Liv is killed off. It’s a real heartbreaker, a death fans will remember for a long time to come." OK! contacted ITV for comment at the time. And now fans think they have figured out how Liv will die on Emmerdale and it involves an explosive character return.
Viewers think that serial killer, Meena Jutla, could escape from prison and be out to get revenge on Liv's husband, Vinny Dingle, who managed to escape from her clutches earlier this year, with Liv accidentally getting caught in the crossfire.Taking to social media, one person said: "Really random theory #Emmerdale but what if Meena escapes during the storm and comes after Vinny but kills Liv?" with several soap watchers agreeing with the theory. It comes as Emmerdale fans have been given their first glimpse at what to expect in the upcoming 50th anniversary episode – which could see multiple deaths in the village. Show runners previously
