While Emmerdale fans know that Aaron Dingle's return to the village is temporary, they think they have 'worked out' how he'll exit following a telling comment. Danny Miller has reprised the role of Aaron in the ITV soap to coincide with the programme's 50th anniversary celebrations this month.
Aaron made his return to the Yorkshire Dales during Monday night's episode (October 3) after a year away to be confronted by a mystery man and find his sister Liv Flaherty sprawled out on the floor. And it wasn't long before Aaron was caught up in a fight with bad guy Terry who had just attacked Liv after she uncovered his and her mum Sandra's ploy to steal her money.
And just as Aaron started to swing for Terry, PC Harriet Finch arrived and was soon taking him to the station for questioning over the incident while Liv was taken to hospital in a worrying condition. Later, after being released, Aaron tried to see his sister but Vinny ordered him to leave.

During Tuesday's night episode, Aaron was moping around before his grandmother Faith Dingle shared some wise words. First, she asked if he met anyone special while he was abroad to which Aaron confessed he did. "Don't go rushing back to him too quickly. It's the first time I've seen your mum smile properly in weeks," Faith, who is dying from cancer, told her
