Emmerdale fans think they've predicted Tom King's (James Chase) downfall following his violent attack on Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson). In a fit of rage, Tom struck Vinny on the head with an ornament and left him for dead.
Thankfully, Vinny was taken to hospital and appeared to be recovering. Tom left Vinny behind, unaware if he was dead or alive after the attack.
He later heard he was in hospital and rushed to be by Vinny's side. While at the hospital, Tom spoke to Vinny's mum Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley), who was understandably upset about the state her son was in. As he comforted Mandy, Tom said he couldn't wait to find the person responsible for the attack.
Emmerdale fans were left sickened by the scenes, and predicted Mandy could soon spark Tom's downfall.
Taking to X, fans predicted Mandy could 'kill' Tom upon finding out how he's attack Vinny. One person said: "Watch out Tom! Mandy will physically kill you when she finds out the truth". "Mandy HAS to break at least one of Tom's ribs when she finds out.
Don't disappoint me," a second said. A third fan added: "Mandy will rip Tom apart when this all comes out!" Tom's dislike towards Vinny has stemmed from Vinny's friendship with Tom's wife Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper).
Tom has been manipulating and controlling Belle behind closed doors, following their wedding earlier this year.
The tension is set to escalate after soap producer Laura Shaw hinted at a darkening storyline. She said: "We've seen how their wedding night ended with Belle in tears, and we've seen since how Tom started to manipulate Belle and coercively control her.
