Emmerdale fans think they've spotted 'plot hole' in Caleb storyline before they're distracted by 'cute' star

Emmerdale fans think they have spotted a major plot hole when it comes to Caleb Milligan's latest storyline as he made a decision over whether to confess to knowing who pushed him and left him for dead.
Last week, viewers of the ITV soap watched Caleb, played by Will Ash, tumbling off a woodland ridge after being pushed by a mystery assailant. However, the mystery didn't stay a mystery for long as during an earlier trip to the Dales this week, it was revealed that it was Caleb's son Nicky who pushed his dad.
Caleb, after being found by my half-brother Cain while on a dog walk, has spent the last few days in an induced coma in the hospital after being found sprawled out on the ground in the woods. After fears he could die, Caleb has come back fighting as he emerged from his induced coma.

And during Thursday night's trip to the Dales (June 22), Caleb was back home. Joined by his son, Nicky, played by Lewis Cope, the former Home Farm nanny told his dad he was going to confess to the police and was prepared to go to prison after Caleb threatened to tell the police it was Cain.
When the police came to visit Caleb, he appeared as though he was about to give someone else's name when Nicky went to step in. However, his dad stopped him and Caleb told officers: "It wasn't Mackenzie. I looked around it must have been a deer or something. I think I just lost my footing."
But covering for his son didn't fix their broken relationship as Nicky said: "You've destroyed me. I've ruined Gabby's life and I've lost Ally. I will happily tell the truth, part of me wishes you never woken up. The blackmail, the games, I'm done dad, we're done." He later left before returning,
