The couple had just reconciled moment before the horrific attack by Mike, a guy Gabby Thomas had been chatted to at the bar and getting drinks from. The police wrongly suspected Ethan Anderson of being behind the discourse when Mike falsely accsued him of having a knife, leading to the solicitor's arrest.
Suni has been in hospital since and during Monday night's (December 4) trip to the Dales, the detective investigating the hate crime arrived at Suni's hospital bedside to take an official statement. Nicky and Suni's father Amit shared concerns that it was too soon for Suni to relive the attack but he insisted: "I want to do this. I want to tell her what happened."
