Emmerdale fans confused as they spot two new characters during Kim Tate protest

Emmerdale fans were left confused on Monday's episode as they spotted two "random" new characters during the protest scenes at the Hide Bistro. During the latest instalment, the staff decided to go on strike after learning that owner Kim Tate was going to fire everyone and rehire on zero hour contracts.
Refusing to work and making the public aware, Amy Wyatt stood at the front as she was joined by other members of staff. However eagle-eyed soap watchers were left confused during the scenes as they noticed two "random" new characters they had never seen on the ITV soap before.

A different account put: "Who the f**k are the two random people???? Where have they been? #Emmerdale." Another follower wrote: "Who’s the guy with the curly hair who’s on strike #Emmerdale." While a different viewer joked: "Kim: these two random people cannot strike because it’s the first time I’ve seen them? #Emmerdale." Elsewhere, the hit ITV soap is set for a shocking week of twists and turns during a special flash forward week of episodes, beginning on Monday 9 May, where several "lives will definitely be in danger".
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, the ITV soap's producer Laura Shaw shared teasers to some shock storylines and jaw-dropping stunts that viewers can enjoy in the coming months. The producer revealed that the soap will have a special storyline week, which will see a series of flash forwards make their way into the episodes, giving "the audience the chance to try and play a bit of Emmerdale detective and see if we can work out
