The upcoming Matilda musical movie has found its two leading ladies!
Netflix has announced that Emma Thompson will be taking on the role of Miss Trunchbull while newcomer Alisha Weir will play Matilda in the upcoming movie adaption of the famed Broadway musical, EW reports.
Early last year it was reported that one of Emma‘s Harry Potter male co-stars would be playing Miss Trunchbull, but appears if those plans did not pan out.
