Far-Right Streaming Personality ‘Baked Alaska’ Arrested After Capitol Riot

Everything about this story is just awful.

One of the men who stormed the U.S. Capitol Building in the Washington, D.C.-based MAGA riot that took place earlier this month had apparently been making plans to try to assassinate Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Ted Cruz woke up on January 21 and apparently chose chaos. The Republican Texas senator, 50, started a fight with Seth Rogen for reasons unknown, tweeting out a screenshot of a tweet about President Joe Biden rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement (which Cruz thinks benefits Parisians). Rogen had responded “f**k off you fascist” to it. Cruz penned a response that spent less time slamming Rogen, more time condemning Democrats.

A social media activist and former Buzzfeed columnist who once worked for Warner Bros. Records and the Warped Tour has been arrested in connection with the Jan. 6 Capitol protests.

The one-time Texas mayoral candidate who bragged about tearing down House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office door during last week’s storming of the US Capitol was all smiles following her court appearance Wednesday. Jenny Cudd was pictured beaming from ear to ear as she left a Midland courthouse, where she appeared before US Magistrate Judge Ronald Griffin on charges of entering a restricted building and disorderly conduct, the Midland Reporter-Telegram reported.

President Trump on Tuesday will travel to Texas to visit the wall at the southern border, and tout his administration’s accomplishment in building more than 450 miles since he took office – an attempt to move attention away from the controversy related to last week’s riot in the Capitol.

A retired Air Force officer who was arrested after he was filmed storming the U.S. Capitol in military gear during last week's riots was turned in by his ex-wife, authorities said.  Larry Rendell Brock, of Grapevine, Texas, was charged with knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building and violent entry and disorderly conduct.

Two more men were charged in federal court in connection with Wednesday’s riot at the U.S. Capitol, the Department of Justice announced Sunday.
