Ed Sheeran has released a remix of his song ‘2step’ featuring Lil Baby, with income from the track being donated to the Ukraine relief effort.The video for this new version of the track was filmed in Ukrainian capital Kyiv in December last year, before the Russian invasion began.“I filmed the video for ‘2step’ in the city of Kyiv, Ukraine before the devastating acts of violence started to take place”, says Sheeran. “It was my first time visiting the country and I felt so welcomed during my stay there – everyone from the production crew to the many people I met across my days off”.“Ukraine is a proud and resilient country and I’m grateful to have had the chance to film my video there”, he adds.

Tributes have poured in overnight for Tom Parker, who died yesterday aged just 33 following a long battle with a brain tumour. 

Ed Sheeran has led celebrity tributes to The Wanted star Tom Parker, who has died of brain cancer aged 33. On Wednesday (30 March), Parker’s death was announced by his wife Kelsey.

Tom disclosed in October 2020 that he had been diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma and had begun radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Naman Ramachandran Concert for Ukraine, the fundraising event for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal on Tuesday, saw £13.4 million ($17.6 million) raised from sponsorship, ad revenue, ticket sales and public donations. The two-hour event, which was live from the Resorts World Arena Birmingham, and broadcast exclusively on ITV and STV, featured performances from Anne-Marie, Becky Hill, Camila Cabello, Nile Rogers & Chic, Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sandé, Gregory Porter, Jamala, The Kingdom Choir, Manic Street Preachers, Nicola Benedetti, Snow Patrol and Tom Odell.A highpoint of the evening was a violin performance, which saw the recent viral video of young violinist Illia Bondarenko playing the Ukrainian folk song “Verbovaya Doschechka” from a basement shelter along with 94 violinists from around the world, joined up with a live performance in the room by Nicola Benedetti.

The two superstars performed their new hit song “Bam Bam” live for the first time at ITV’s ‘Concert for Ukraine.’ The event, which took place in Birmingham, U.K. on March 29, raised money for Ukraine as the country continues to face deadly attacks from Russian troops.

Concert For Ukraine raised a mammoth £12.2 million for the war relief effort in Eastern Europe last night.
