According to the Daily Mail, the video was a tribute to Ed‘s late friend Jamal Edwards, who passed away in February. Jamal‘s mother Brenda and sister Tanisha were also reportedly present for the shoot.
“I haven’t posted anything coz I can’t find the words, I can’t reply coz I don’t know what to say. Jamal is my brother,” Ed wrote in a tribute to Jamal on Instagram after his death. “His light shone so bright. He only used it to illuminate others and never asked for anything in return.”
Earlier this month, it was announced that Ed had a huge victory in court.
