Brenda Edwards is set to return to Loose Women for the first time since her son's tragic death, it has been announced. The theatre star will appear on Monday's show (April 25) in a pre-recorded interview with Coleen Nolan.
Brenda's son, SBTV founder Jamal, died suddenly in February this year, aged 31. Entrepreneur and music pioneer Jamal was awarded an MBE in 2014 for his services to music and is widely credited for launching the careers of several leading British artists including Ed Sheeran and Dave.
Brenda, who appeared on the second series of The X Factor back in 2005 and is now a regular on stage, shared a statement hours after the news broke and has since returned to social media to announce a foundation in Jamal's name - The Jamal Edwards Self Belief Trust.
