Tilly Keeper made a big impression with some meaty storylines during her years playing Louise Mitchell on EastEnders before she was snapped up to work across the Atlantic. She’s one a talented quartet of young soap stars who have graduated to Hollywood after cutting their acting teeth on Albert Square. We've taken a look at Tilly's emerging fortunes, as well as the blossoming careers of three others who spent some time in the fictional Walford before spreading their wings - Himesh Patel, Ben Hardy and Mimi Keene.
All have gone on to prove themselves in the wider British film or TV world, as well as graduating to networks like HBO and Netflix.Tilly Keeper Tilly, 24, is about to make her first impressions on Hollywood after being cast as Lady Phoebe in the fourth series of the popular Netflix drama You, about a bookstore manager who is a serial killer. The actress is certainly no stranger to gritty storylines. When she made her EastEnders debut in the role of Phil Mitchell’s teenage daughter, Louise, back in 2016 she was quickly immersed in a catalogue of on-screen traumas and made a lasting impression on viewers. She faced her father’s alcoholism and her mother, Lisa’s, mental health issues.
She was kidnapped, injured in a bus crash and suffered terrible burns in a fire. And, if that wasn’t enough, Louise gave birth to her baby Peggy - Keanu Taylor’s child. Tilly announced she was quitting EastEnders in December 2019, and her final scenes were screened in January 2020.
