A part of the country has been hit by an earthquake with a 1.8 magnitude on the Richter scale, according to data recorded this week.
Wales Online reports the epicentre of the quake on Wednesday was in a small rural village in Pen Llyn in Gwynedd - but the effects could be felt two miles away.
Data recorded by the British Geological Survey (BGS) said the tremor was centred on Capel Carmel, at a depth of 19km.
North Wales Live also reports it is not the first time the area has experienced a quake this year with Wednesday's incident being the fourth recorded.
One tremor in Llanfigael on Anglesey measured 1.3 on the Richter scale.

A bigger quake hit on February 24 three miles north west of Merthyr Tydfil.
On that occasion, the 3.7 magnitude quake was at a depth of 2km and shook homes as far away as Birmingham.
