Eamonn Holmes shared a snap of him cuddling his sweet granddaughter Emilia. In a post shared on his Instagram account on Tuesday, the television presenter, who recently fell into his wife Ruth Langsford's bad books, looked every inch the doting grandfather. The 61 year old had little Emilia on his lap as the pair grinned widely for the camera taken at Eamonn's mother's house. "Visiting Great Grandma Josie with Emilia.
Home in Belfast," GB News host Eamonn, who became a grandfather for the first time in July last year when his son Declan welcomed baby Emilia with his wife Jenny, captioned the image. Eamonn's social media followers gushed over the image, with one writing: "Oh my goodness Emilia is absolutely gorgeous. Cherish every moment xxx." "What a great photo of you both," another wrote, while a third added: "Gosh she is growing up fast." A fourth wrote: "She is just the cutest!!!!" Emilia is his eldest son Declan's daughter.
Declan, 33, is one of three children the presenter shares with his first wife Gabrielle Holmes, along with daughter Rebecca, 31, and son Niall, 29. He shares 20 year old son Jack with his current wife, Ruth. Meanwhile, Eamonn hilariously revealed last week that he was in his wife Ruth's "bad books" after asking an "innocent question".
Eamonn took to Twitter to reveal how he accidentally started a row with Ruth. He tweeted: "Little could I have imagined that a simple question asked out loud like 'Where do we keep the Eggcups?' would have got the day off to such a fractious start. "Sorry I asked," Eamonn added alongside a series of confused face emojis to the post, which sparked debate with many seeing Ruth's point of view.
