Eamonn Holmes has left his wife Ruth Langsford in hysterics after posting a strange picture on Instagram.The 62 year old Northern Irish broadcaster shared with his followers how he is trying to combat his chronic back pain. He shared a shocking snap of his back covered in wooden cups as he underwent cupping therapy.This form of alternative medicine originated in China. Heated cups are applied to different areas of the skin to create a local suction.The treatment is said to help increase blood flow to the area, decreasing pain and inflammation.

Eamonn joked that his osteotherapist had ‘gone home’, leaving him with the strange looking cups all over his back. He captioned the post: “My osteo James has just gone Home. How am I supposed to get into bed now ????? #Cupping.” The picture definitely caught the attention of Eamonn’s followers, as some of them said he looked like a ‘hedgehog’.
One fan dubbed Eamonn ‘Hedgehog Holmes’, while another said: “Worst Sonic the Hedgehog reboot ever..” His wife, Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford, 62, fondly commented: “My ninja turtle!” followed by two laughing emojis.
