A businessman has been banned from the roads after ploughing a car into a wall while more than twice the drink -drive limit.
Stephen Dotchin crashed his white Citroen C4 on the evening of October 8.
Teesside Magistrates' Court heard how the 44-year-old's wife was a passenger in the vehicle when it was involved in the collision in Saltburn, reports Teesside Live.
Prosecutor Paul Doney told the court how Dotchin gave a roadside breath test to a police officer at the scene.
