Donald Trump has claimed Boris Johnson intervened to cancel an interview with Piers Morgan ahead of the 2019 General Election.
The former US President appeared on Piers Morgan 's new Uncensored programme on TalkTV where he was asked his opinion on a number of topics, from the Royal Family to the Tory Prime Minister.
Trump also said he cannot reveal if he will run for office again but added that "a lot of people are going to be very happy".
During the interview it emerged that Johnson is believed to have advised Trump not to do an interview with Morgan ahead of the General Election at the end of 2019.
Trump said: "I was over there (United Kingdom) as his guest. So if he asks me not to do that I have to do that."
Morgan asked: "Why didn't he want you to talk to me?"
Trump replied: "I don't know. I didn't even ask him."
Morgan said: "The UK election was a few days later. I was told it was because he was worried that between us we might create something that may cost him the election."
Trump then replied: "Well, I like him. I've always liked him.
"I think he's getting a little bit liberal, he's getting a little bit green."
Trump also shared his thoughts on the Russian invasion of Ukraine during an interview with Piers Morgan.
He said he thought the war was "terrible", adding: "We're going to be ashamed at what we've done, or what we haven't done to stop this catastrophe.
"This is a catastrophe. This is in a way already a world war."
He also reflected on what action he would have taken against Russian leader Vladimir Putin if he was still the US president.
Trump said: "I would say we have far more (nuclear weapons) than you do, far more powerful than you and you can't use that word ever again.
