The Weeknd has announced a slew of North American stadium concerts – dubbed the ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ tour – that are set to begin in July and run until early September.The singer will kick off the run in his native Toronto on July 8 before heading to Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles and more.He’ll be joined on the road by special guest Doja Cat – the two linked up on ‘You Right’ from Doja’s album ‘Planet Her’ last year. The Weeknd has become one of the biggest pop stars in the world over the last few years with his albums After Hours (which contained the smash hits "Blinding Lights" and "Save Your Tears") and Dawn FM, the 2022 project that just might be his masterpiece. There were plans for a massive, hundred-plus date world tour that the pandemic botched at least twice, but hope springs eternal: today, The Weeknd has shared the first leg of his After Hours Til Dawn tour, a more manageable 17-dates spanning North America this summer.

Tyga has released a brand new single featuring Doja Cat called ‘Freaky Deaky’ – you can check it out below.It’s the second time the pair have collaborated following Tyga’s cameo on Doja’s ‘Juicy’, taken from her 2019 album, ‘Hot Pink’. For their latest collabo – which they teased earlier in the week – the duo take turns discussing their sexual inclinations.“I’ve been feelin’ freaky deaky/ You’re on your way to see me/ Got the mirror on the ceiling/ You’re in the mood to please me,” Doja sings on the hook.In the accompanying video, the pair are seen acting out different fantasies. Doja Cat has released her cover of Hole‘s classic single ‘Celebrity Skin’ in full – you can listen to it below.The Los Angeles artist previewed her take on Courtney Love and co.’s 1998 track yesterday (February 10). It was recorded as part of a team-up with Taco Bell for The Grande Escape, an advert designed to “give fans a bold new taste of what it means to Live Más”.Doja Cat’s new version of Hole’s ‘Celebrity Skin’ – the original of which appears on the group’s third album of the same name – contains reworked lyrics that were written in partnership with frontwoman Love.Due to air during the fourth quarter of this Sunday’s Super Bowl (February 13), The Grande Escape tells “an epic story of liberation from conformity and shows Doja Cat alongside others who escape from a clown college in pursuit of discovering Live Más for themselves”.Per a press release, the commercial is “a depiction of the exhilaration and comfort that comes from honouring and celebrating being different”.Speaking about the project in a statement, Doja Cat explained: “I’ve enjoyed every moment of this campaign, especially the ones where we get to break all the rules, and look forward to continuing collaborating with the brand.”This weekend’s Super Bowl takes place at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
