Does ‘Werewolf by Night’ Have a Post-Credits Scene?

No spoilers, but we will reveal whether or not “Werewolf by Night” has a post-credits scene, so if you don’t want to know, turn back now!See above. It’s basically a Marvel Studios Halloween special, directed by the insidiously talented Michael Giacchino, who has contributed the musical scores to some of the MCU’s biggest films (“Doctor Strange,” all three Tom Holland “Spider-Man” movies, “Thor: Love and Thunder”). Presented in black-and-white, with theatrical flourishes like “cigarette burns,” “Werewolf by Night” is meant to mimic the look and feel of classic Universal monster movies from the 1940’s.
It’s a total blast. And it opens up the more monstrous corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which will soon be further explored in the theatrical “Blade” film and the upcoming Disney+ series “Agatha: Coven of Chaos.” Spooky!Because this is Marvel Studios we’re talking about. Since their very first feature, 2008’s “Iron Man,” a surprise post-credits (or sometimes mid-credits) scene has become a hallmark for their theatrical features and some of the television series (most notably “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law”).
With the studio’s history (and with the aforementioned future horror-adjacent Marvel projects), you’d be safe to assume that it would have a post-credits sequence too.Nope!Yes, really. There’s a typically grandiose main-on-end title sequence, accompanied by Giacchino’s wonderful “Werewolf by Night” theme, but after that, we are treated to the cold reality of the “filmed in Georgia” logo. No mid-credits sequence, got it.
