An Ayr DJ who only started off DJ'ing in January is about to feature at Scotland’s biggest music festival.
Chloe Frame, 23, will take her place at TRNSMT festival this weekend.
The rising star will take to the decks at the Boogie Bar on day three of the huge festival which attracts around 120,000 each year to Glasgow Green.
It comes after a whirlwind seven months which saw her first perform in front of a small bar on the other side of the world, and take Glasgow and Edinburgh club scene by storm.
Chloe told Ayrshire Live: “I only started doing this in January.
“I bought myself a set of decks in Argos and spent hours learning how to do everything.
“It drove my dad demented for the first few weeks.
“To be playing TRNSMT only a few months later is wild, it literally feels like a movie.
“My goal was to play any festival at all by 2025, never mind Scotland’s biggest festival!”
Chloe who jokes she was once chucked out of music at school for “breaking a glockenspiel”, always had a passion for music and was left inspired by major Ayr success Ewan McVicar.
As well as starting DJ’ing in January, Chloe also packed in a globe trotting trip to Vietnam where she plucked up the courage to get a taste for life behind the decks.
Chloe said: “I was travelling around Vietnam and I got offered to do a bar gig.
“It wasn’t my best performance but I just remember thinking I don’t know this crowd or speak the language, so it’s okay if I mess up.
“I knew then it is what I wanted to do.
“I’ve been to loads of festivals and club nights. I used to go to Ewan’s Ten night in Ayr, he and my brother were really good pals growing up as well.
“I always knew it was something I wanted to try.”
Chloe has cut her hours down as a learning disability nurse and moved to
