Disney+ has revealed a first-look at a new drama about the life of German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. The streamer has also confirmed when the six-part series will drop.
Becoming Karl Lagerfeld stars Daniel Brühl and is adapted from the bestseller Kaiser Karl by Raphaëlle Bacqué. Lagerfeld - known for his statement white hair, sunglasses and fingerless gloves combo - was instrumental in renovating fashion house Chanel when he served as creative director in 1983 until his death in 2019.

The major event saw celebrities stay in the city's top hotels to attend the luxury fashion brand's outdoor catwalk before heading to Victoria Baths for an after party. It was believed to have brought around £8m to the city, according to the council.

In one photo, we see Brühl as the unmistakable Lagerfeld, dressed in a smart suit. While he's sporting a pair of ombre-lens sunglasses, his hair is kept its natural black colour. Another snap sees the upcoming designer at a fashion show, surrounded by a swathe of stylish women.
While he meets and falls in love with the sultry Jacques de Bascher (Théodore Pellerin), an ambitious and troubling young dandy, the most mysterious of fashion designers dares to
