Dimitar Berbatov feels Manchester United won't be able to attract Harry Kane to Old Trafford this summer, despite the transfer rumours.
United are in the market for an attacking option as their problems were laid bare under Ralf Rangnick last season. Cristiano Ronaldo will be 38 by the end of next season but with Edinson Cavani leaving in July, it leaves just Marcus Rashford as the only other senior option for Erik ten Hag up front.
Darwin Nunez and Christopher Nkunku are two of the emerging stars touted with a move to the Premier League and United, in particular this summer. Kane has also been tentatively linked in recent months but has since reaffirmed his importance to Antonio Conte's side as they secured Champions League football on the final day of the season.

As a result of United's failure to secure their place in the elite European competition, Berbatov has questioned whether they can prise him away from North London. "Of course, there are going to be questions around Harry Kane's future following last summer's saga. Haaland has gone to Manchester City, so will Kane go to Man United?" he told Betfair.
"They aren't playing Champions League football, so I don't see the point of the move for Kane. He will want to play Champions League football. Where else would he go?
"Outside of England? I don't think so. My guess is, that there will be rumours flying around, and some interest from clubs, but he will stay at Spurs."
