Police swooped at a school in Salford and arrested a man on suspicion of 'communication with a child', Greater Manchester Police has said.
Plain-clothes officers visited Light Oaks Junior School on June 19 and arrested a man suspicion of communicating with a child. GMP has confirmed the child concerned does not attend the school, while a spokesperson for the school said there were 'no safeguarding concerns surrounding the school'.
The suspect was interviewed by police before being released on bail while an investigation continues.

A GMP statement read: "At 8.30am on Wednesday 19 June, we attended a premises on Lancaster Road in Salford. A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of communication with a child. He remains in police custody for questioning.
"This arrest is in connection with a disclosure that police received on Friday 14 June. Safeguarding measures have been put in place for the child, who is not connected to Lancaster Road, and we are working closely with specialist officers and partner organisations to ensure they receive the support they need."
The force confirmed the suspect has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
A spokesperson at Light Oaks Junior school said : "Police attended the school on Wednesday morning and made an arrest. Officers reassured the school there were no safeguarding concerns surrounding the school.
"We are working with police and staff while also supporting parents to address concerns at this time. It is clearly inappropriate to comment further while the police are looking into this matter."
