Detectives launch investigation after suspected stabbing

A man in his 30s was taken to hospital following a suspected stabbing in Salford.
Detectives have launched an investigation following the incident in Wardley on Friday night (March 4). Police were called to Ash Drive, near the junction with Moss Bank Road, just after 7.30pm.
The victim was taken to hospital with a minor injury, which police say is 'believed to have been caused following a stabbing'. A GMP spokesperson said 'a number of lines of enquiry are being followed up'.

No arrests have been made. Police are now appealing for witnesses.
A GMP spokesperson said: "Officers were called to a report of an assault on Ash Drive just after 7.30pm yesterday. Emergency services attended and a man in his 30s was taken to hospital with a minor injury believed to have been caused following a stabbing.
"Detectives launched an investigation and a number of lines of enquiry are being followed up."
