Additionally, were you to be involved in an incident whilst not adequately insured, your insurance company would not cover the costs incurred."
Deliveroo's website says: "As a Deliveroo rider you are covered by our insurance whenever and wherever you’re out on the road with us in the UK. This includes the whole time you’re online, as well as up to one hour after you go offline."
The police also caught a number or private hire motorists committing offences during a Saturday night patrol on Liverpool Road, including driving with numerous lamps out, exceeding the speed limit and not wearing their private hire licence as per the terms of their permit.
