Cancer campaigner Dame Deborah James shared a snap of her making drinks in the sun on Tuesday afternoon, where she confessed: "I'm working my way through old-school cocktails day-by-day until I'm gone."
The activist and podcast host, 40, who was honoured with a damehood recently, has been living at her parents' home in Woking after being moved to palliative care last month. It comes after she was first diagnosed with bowel cancer back in 2016 and has kept her almost one million Instagram followers up to date with her treatments.
In a lighthearted Instagram story on Tuesday afternoon (June 14), James, who goes by @BowelBabe on her social media channels, shared a snap of her making a sex on the beach cocktail as a 'sundowner' drink in the evening.

She penned: "Today's sundowner treat of choice! 'Sex on the beach!' Maybe I should call this working my way through all old school cocktails day by day before I'm gone!"
Last month, the author and former headteacher admitted she was scared to sleep as she continues to receive end of life care at home. She has raised more than £6.5 million through online fundraising for cancer charities and proceeds for her website Bowel Babe fund.
Since her diagnosis she has been sharing her experiences online, where she has become one of three presenters on BBC Radio 5 Live's You, Me and the Big C and well-known online as "Bowel Babe'. More recently she has vowed to 'live whilst dying' after sharing snaps from her recent visit to the Glyndebourne Festival Opera.
