Girls Aloud's Nadine Coyle breaks down in tears as she shares Easter memory of Sarah Harding

Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle broke down in tears as she shared an Easter memory from her time with the late Sarah Harding. The Irish singer, 38, who is currently in Japan, took to TikTok on Sunday, 31 March to share that the trip "got her thinking" about her "first time in LA".This led to Nadine sharing a heartfelt story about her bandmate and friend, Sarah, who tragically passed away at the age of 39 after a battle with breast cancer. Sitting outside to record the video Nadine explained that her first time in LA happened to be Easter Sunday and she was there with "our beautiful Sarah Harding." She said: "We went there to record like a game for a song which came out recently, which is crazy because it was all of those years ago that we went and I'm going to try and get through this without crying." Nadine composed herself and said she had been "left alone for a minute" and "didn't expect this at all." Before sharing that "Sarah and I were beside ourselves with excitement" when they went to LA.

Simon Cowell breaks down in tears during emotional moment at Together For Short Lives charity ball

Simon Cowell might be known for his no-nonsense, straight-talking persona - but the 64 year old revealed a decidedly softer side at Together For Short Lives ball, with his fiancée Lauren Silverman. The X Factor judge, 64 - who is a patron of the charity which raises vital funds for palliative care for children fighting life-threatening conditions - broke down in tears on stage and announced that he "couldn't talk", taking to the stage after hearing a mother speak movingly about her family's own devastating journey. Lauren, 46, took over as Simon tried to compose himself, and began by saying: "One of the things that has affected us most is that your son died on our son's birthday on Valentine's Day." Then Simon - who shares nine year old son Eric with Lauren - stepped in to encourage people to support the charity organisation, but found he was really chocked up as he spoke.
