Planning a wedding if stressful enough, but Danny Miller's new wife Steph had some added last-minute wedding drama after her dress and veil failed to arrive on time. Speaking to exclusively to OK! , Steph explained how her dress was being made in Ukraine by brand WONÁ Concept, and the ongoing war between the country and Russia led to her gown being stuck in customs. She told us: “The dress I wore ended up being one my mum had picked.
I loved it all apart the sleeves so I had them taken off and little straps added instead. "It was a bit of a stress because it was being made in Ukraine, but because of all the terrible things going on there it took ages to come." Revealing the dress only arrived days before their big day, which took place in the grounds of the beautiful Nunsmere Hall Hotel in Cheshire, she continued: “In the end someone from the shop had to fly over to get it from customs. "I only got it a week before the wedding! Luckily it only had to be shortened a bit.” And midwife Steph, 30, who found her dress at Liverpool bridal boutique Florianni, says that when it came to her veil, the article of clothing never turned up.
She adds: “My veil never arrived so I had to choose one from the four they had in the shop at the last-minute. “But I ended up loving it and all the leaves that had been stitched into it. I couldn’t even remember what my original veil looked like.” But even with the last-minute stress and a different veil, there was no denying that Steph looked stunning in the creation, which featured a mesh corset-style bodice and skirt with intricate detailing.
