Dan Walker 'storms off' GMB as he pokes fun at Piers Morgan's heated exit

Dan Walker appeared on Monday morning's Good Morning Britain where he spoke about his move from BBC Breakfast to Channel 5.The broadcaster used his visit to the ITV studio to make fun of one of their former employees, Piers Morgan, who famously stormed off the show in 2021 when a discussion about Meghan Markle became heated. Both Dan, 45, and Piers, 57, have been involved in a feud for years having wound each other up on Twitter numerous times.
As far back as 2017, the former GMB host was regularly trying to get to Dan by claiming his show was closing the ratings gaps on BBC Breakfast. Just before his interview with hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid ended, Dan announced he was going to what people "normally do on this programme" and walked off the set.
He said: "Well, I'm going to do what they normally do on this programme and walk off." Susanna, 51, stated: "I would like to point out only one person has ever done that but yes, it is a stage that has been set for you." And Dan replied: "Bye, see you later. See you at five o'clock on Channel 5." His interview began with Susanna asking whether he would be on the show if Piers had returned, she asked: "Would you have come in if the former occupant of Richard's seat had been sitting here?" Dan attempted to deflect the question by first asking if she was referring to Adil Ray before questioning both hosts, saying: "I think the more interesting question would is would you lot be here if he came back?" Susanna stated: "Well, I'm still here.
