Naman Ramachandran Netflix has revealed a multi-year series partnership with Indian filmmaker Hansal Mehta. Mehta’s hard hitting crime drama series “Scoop,” his maiden venture for Netflix, bowed earlier this month and was a major success for the service. Inspired by crime reporter Jigna Vora’s book “Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison” and starring Karishma Tanna as crime reporter Jagruti Pathak, the series is set up as the first season of a franchise.  Taking this successful collaboration forward, Mehra will create multiple series for Netflix over the next few years.

LOONA have reportedly won their lawsuit against Blockberry Creative.Today (June 16), South Korean news outlets Segye Ilbo and Seoul Economic Daily reported that the Seoul High Court’s civil affairs department ruled in favour of LOONA members – namely Haseul, Yeojin, Yves, Olivia Hye and Go Won – in their lawsuit against Blockberry Creative.According to the two reports, the court had ruled in favour of suspending the Blockberry Creative contracts of the K-pop idols as it believed that there was an issue over the company’s decision to transfer the girl group’s contracts to Universal Japan without the members’ consent.Some members of LOONA have since reacted to the news with posts on Instagram. K-pop girl group LOONA have signed with a new agency, headed by former a Blockberry Creative director.On June 12, newly founded entertainment agency CTDENM released a statement sharing that it had signed exclusive contracts with LOONA’s Hyunjin and Vivi. The news comes four months after it was reported that the two idols had filed injunctions to suspend their contracts with agency Blockberry Creative.Per Maeil Kyeongje, as translated by Soompi, CTDENM said: “We would like to thank Hyunjin and Vivi for joining us at this new starting point, and we will do our utmost in giving our unsparing support to these two artists in the future so that their talents can blossom even more beautifully.”“We hope that you’ll take a fond interest in Hyunjin’s and Vivi’s futures, and we ask that you look forward to what CTDENM has in store as well,” it added.The new agency is reportedly founded by Yoon Do-yeon, who had previously worked with LOONA while under Blockberry Creative as a director in its planning division.
