Critics Choice Super Awards 2021 Nominations Released!

The Critics Choice Association on Tuesday said that actor Delroy Lindo will receive the career achievement award at its Celebration of Black Cinema, set for Feb. 2.

Leading the list of honorees for the Critics Choice Association’s third annual Celebration Of Black Cinema are  Delroy Lindo receiving the Career Achievement Award, John Legend and Mike Jackson as Producers of the Year, Tessa Thompson winning the Actors Award, recent Emmy winner  Yahya  Abdul -Mateen II for the Breakthrough Award,  Andra Day as a Special Honoree,  and the cast of Amazon Studio’s One Night In Miami  taking the Ensemble Award.  The virtual ceremony will take place on Tuesday

"Wonder Woman 1984" is slated to release in theaters and on HBO Max, and the studio recently announced that they will do the same for their entire theatrical slate through 2021. "Oh, I mean, disbelief. Especially the way in which they did.

The International Documentary Association has announced the nominees for its 36th Annual IDA Documentary Awards, and a certain streaming service dominates. Netflix scored a leading 18 noms for the 2020 IDAs more than three times its nearest rival. PBS is second with five, followed by HBO (four).

Today, the 2020 Critics Choice Documentary Awards were handed out. The fifth annual non-fiction offshoot of the Critics Choice Awards, it’s obviously given out by the Critics Choice Association, of which I’m a member.
