After Shauna (Melanie Lynskey) drew the Queen and the group began hunting her, Shauna’s daughter Callie (Sarah Desjardins) showed up in the nick of time to save her mom.

Critics Choice Awards may be able to replace the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s big night. “That show, we believe — with a little bit of support, a little bit of marketing, a little more oomph behind it — that could almost replace the Golden Globes, maybe, with everything going on there,” Schwartz said.The network president called the 2023 Critics Choice Awards “absolutely” a better show than the Globes. “Far more fun, far more energy.

The 2024 Critics Choice Awards will return to the CW, airing on Jan. 14, the network announced today as part of its 2023-24 schedule. Once again, the show will follow the Golden Globes, which have set a Jan. 7, 2024 date but no network yet.

The 2023 Tony Awards will air as planned on June 11, but changes are going to be made to the show amid the Writes Guild of America strike.
