Testing for Covid has resumed in some secondary schools in Bolton as the borough attempts to control the spread of the Indian variant.
In line with guidance from the Department of Education, only pupils aged 12 and above are being tested.
All secondary school pupils and college students in England are being asked to take twice weekly lateral flow (LFD) tests at home.
